Privacy Policy

How we handle your data and protect your privacy.

Last Updated: August 6, 2026

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy ("Policy") explains how Pebble Animation ("we," "us," "our," or "Company") collects, uses, discloses, and otherwise handles personal information when you visit our website, order services through our platform, or interact with us in any other way. Please read this Policy carefully. By accessing our website or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy and agree to our practices as described herein.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you voluntarily provide to us, as well as information automatically generated through your use of our services: • Order Information: When you place an order for animated video services, we collect your name, email address, phone number (if provided), payment information, business name, website URL, brand assets (logos, images, footage, copy, or other materials you provide), project details, messaging preferences, and any other information you choose to provide in your project questionnaire or communications with us. • Communication Information: We collect information from emails, messages, support requests, and any other correspondence you have with our team, including the content of those communications. • Payment & Billing Information: When you make a payment, payment processor information is collected by our payment provider (we do not store full credit card numbers). We retain billing records, transaction history, and invoice information to maintain your account. • Automatically Collected Information: Our website automatically collects certain technical and behavioral information, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, time spent on pages, clickstreams, and device type. We use cookies, web beacons, and similar tracking technologies to collect this information. This data helps us understand how our site is used and improve user experience. • Analytics Data: We use third-party analytics services to track website usage patterns, conversion rates, traffic sources, and other behavioral metrics to improve our services and marketing efforts. • Advertising & Conversion Tracking: We use advertising and conversion-measurement technologies — including the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and the Meta Conversions API — that collect information about your activity on our site, such as pages viewed, when you begin creating a video, checkout steps started, and purchases completed. Where you provide information such as your email address (for example, at checkout), these technologies may transmit a hashed, irreversible version of it to our advertising partners to attribute conversions and match your activity to your account on their platforms. We do not transmit your raw email address, payment card numbers, or your project materials through these technologies. • Cookies: We use both session-based and persistent cookies to remember your preferences, authentication status, and browsing history. You can control cookie settings through your browser, though some features may not work properly if cookies are disabled.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes: • Service Delivery: To produce and deliver your animated videos, process your orders, manage your account, and provide any related services you request. • Communication: To respond to your inquiries, send order confirmations, provide updates on your video production status, and contact you regarding revisions or delivery. • Payment Processing: To process one-time payments for your orders, issue receipts, and resolve any billing questions. • Account Management: To create and maintain your account, authenticate you when you log in, and manage your preferences and profile information. • Service Improvement: To analyze usage patterns, gather feedback, identify trends, and improve our website, user experience, and service offerings. • Marketing & Promotion: To send promotional emails, newsletters, and marketing communications about new services, features, or special offers (you may opt out at any time by clicking "unsubscribe" in emails or contacting us). • Portfolio & Showcase: To showcase the finished videos we produce for you as examples of our work — including your business name and logo as they appear within those videos — on our website, social media accounts, advertising, and sales materials. This use is described in Section 7 of our Terms of Service, and you may opt out at any time by contacting us at hello@pebbleanimation.com. • Advertising & Measurement: To measure how effective our advertising is, attribute sales to specific campaigns, optimize who sees our ads, and show you relevant or reminder ("remarketing") ads on platforms such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram). See "Advertising Partners" in Section 4 and the opt-out choices in Section 7. • Legal Compliance: To comply with applicable laws, regulations, court orders, subpoenas, and other legal obligations. • Fraud Prevention & Security: To detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent transactions, unauthorized access, and other illegal or inappropriate activity. • Aggregated Analytics: To create anonymized, aggregated reports about user behavior, service trends, and business performance.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or lease your personal information to third parties. However, we may share your information in the following limited circumstances: • Service Providers: We share information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our website, processing payments, delivering emails, providing hosting, analyzing data, and supporting our business operations. These providers are contractually obligated to use your information only to the extent necessary to provide services to us and maintain confidentiality. • Payment Processors: Payment information is securely transmitted to payment processing providers (such as Stripe, PayPal, or similar services) to process your transactions. We do not store complete credit card numbers. • Advertising & Analytics Partners: We share limited information — such as online identifiers, cookie and pixel data, your activity on our site, and hashed (irreversible) identifiers like a hashed email address — with advertising and analytics platforms, including Meta (Facebook), to measure and optimize our advertising, attribute conversions, and deliver relevant or remarketing ads to you on their platforms. This is done through cookies, pixels, and server-side conversion APIs. We do not share your raw email address, payment card details, or project materials for advertising purposes. You can limit this sharing using the choices described in Section 7. • Brand Assets & Video Production: Your brand assets (logos, images, footage, copy) are shared with our internal production team and contractors solely for the purpose of creating your ordered videos. Apart from the promotional display of finished videos described in the next bullet, these assets are not used for any other purpose, shared with third parties, or retained longer than necessary to complete your order and handle revisions. • Portfolio & Promotional Display: We may publicly display the finished videos we produce for you — including your business name and logo as they appear within those videos — on our website, on our social media accounts, in advertising, and in sales and portfolio materials, as permitted by our Terms of Service. We do not publish your project questionnaire, your communications with us, or brand assets that do not appear in the finished video. You may opt out at any time by emailing hello@pebbleanimation.com. • Legal Requirements: We may disclose information when required by law, regulation, court order, subpoena, or government request. We will provide notice when legally permitted. • Business Transfers: If Pebble Animation is merged, acquired, or sold, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change and any choices you may have. • Consent: We may share information with third parties when you explicitly consent to such sharing.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical, administrative, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or misuse. Our security measures include encryption, secure socket layer (SSL) technology, access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee absolute security. You use our services at your own risk.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services, fulfill the purposes outlined in this Policy, and comply with legal obligations. Specifically: • Account & Order Information: Retained for the duration of your relationship with us and for a reasonable period thereafter to support customer service, dispute resolution, and legal compliance (typically 3-7 years). • Brand Assets: Your video project materials are retained for a reasonable period during and after production to handle revisions and support. After the production and revision period concludes, we will delete or anonymize these materials unless you request extended retention. • Payment & Billing Records: Retained for a minimum of 7 years to comply with tax and financial record-keeping requirements. • Marketing Communications: If you opt in to receive promotional emails, we retain your information until you unsubscribe or request deletion. • Analytics Data: Retained for 12-24 months in identifiable form; older data is anonymized. When information is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it. You may request deletion of your data at any time subject to legal obligations that may require us to retain certain information.

7. User Rights & Choices

You have the following rights regarding your personal information: • Access: You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you. • Correction: You may request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information. • Deletion: You may request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal obligations that may require us to retain certain data (such as tax records). • Opt-Out: You may opt out of receiving promotional emails by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in any marketing email or contacting us. • Cookie Control: You may disable cookies through your browser settings, though some website features may not function properly. • Interest-Based Advertising: You may opt out of interest-based and cross-context behavioral advertising. On Meta, adjust your Ad Preferences within your Facebook or Instagram account settings. You may also use industry opt-out tools such as the Digital Advertising Alliance (optout.aboutads.info) and the Network Advertising Initiative (optout.networkadvertising.org), or disable advertising cookies in your browser. These opt-outs are specific to each browser and device. • Do Not Track: Some browsers include a "Do Not Track" feature; we currently do not respond to these signals, but you may disable cookies and tracking as described above. To exercise these rights, please contact us at hello@pebbleanimation.com with a clear description of your request.

8. Third-Party Links & Services

Our website may contain links to third-party websites, apps, and services that are not operated by us. This Policy does not apply to third-party sites or services, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you use. Linking to a third-party site does not imply endorsement or affiliation.

9. International Data Transfers

Our website and services are operated from the United States. If you are located outside the United States, your personal information will be transferred to and stored in the United States. By using our services, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your home country. If you are located in the European Union or other jurisdictions with strict data protection laws, we will implement appropriate safeguards as required by law.

10. Children's Privacy

Our services are not intended for children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we discover that we have collected information from a child under 18, we will delete it immediately. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 18, please contact us at hello@pebbleanimation.com.

11. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you may have certain rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete personal information (with certain exceptions), the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. We do not sell your personal information for money. However, our use of advertising technologies such as the Meta Pixel and the Meta Conversions API may be considered "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under the CCPA/CPRA. You have the right to opt out of this sharing — you may do so using the interest-based advertising opt-outs described in Section 7, or by contacting us at hello@pebbleanimation.com. To exercise your other CCPA/CPRA rights, please submit a request to hello@pebbleanimation.com with sufficient detail to verify your identity.

12. European Privacy Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Union, United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions covered by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you may have additional rights, including the right to withdraw consent, the right to data portability, the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority, and additional rights to restrict or object to processing. Our legal basis for processing your information includes performance of our contract with you, your consent, and our legitimate business interests. To exercise GDPR rights or lodge a complaint, please contact us at hello@pebbleanimation.com.

13. Updates to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this Policy and may notify you by email if the changes materially affect how we handle your information. Your continued use of our services following notification of changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically to stay informed about how we protect your information.
